Dave Bennett Quartet
The Dave Bennett Quartet presents an intense and emotional musical experience. Bennett and his band perform hard driving swing, rockabilly, jazz, pop, gospel, and original songs. Listeners will recognize the influences of Benny Goodman, Pete Fountain, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Beatles, Chris Isaak, Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins.

A Whole Lotta Shakin’: Swing to Rock
(Symphonic Show)
A Whole Lotta Shakin’: Swing to Rock is an adrenaline infused showcase of Bennett’s talents on clarinet, electric guitar, piano, drums, and vocals. The show features music from the Swing Era to Rock and Roll. Audiences will hear classics by Benny Goodman, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, and up-to-date original tunes from Bennett’s album Blood Moon.

Benny Goodman Tribute
Benny Goodman will forever be the King of Swing . . . and Dave Bennett’s musical hero! Bennett performs Goodman’s hits and classics, including Moonglow, I’ve Got Rhythm, Slipped Disc, Sing Sing Sing, and many others. The group’s harmonized riffs and ensemble parts stay true to the past while integrating modern influences. Bennett demonstrates an uncanny ability to transport the listener to the Swing Era, while adding his own refreshing intensity to Goodman’s classic hits. Bennett’s take is at once powerful, fresh, vibrant, and soulful.

The Memphis Speed Kings
The Memphis Speed Kings play vintage Rockabilly and Rock ‘n’ Roll music of Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Chuck Berry and others.
The band was formed in 2009, when jazz clarinetist Dave Bennett and drummer Hal Smith discovered a mutual admiration for the music of “The Killer” — Jerry Lee Lewis.
Look for a room full of happy Rockabilly fans and a dance floor with a “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On” and you have found the Memphis Speed Kings!
